SEK- Qatar is part of SEK Education Group, with over 130 years’ experience and history. Currently with 11 schools around the world (Spain, France, Ireland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and SEK International School Online) and its over 7,000 students representing over 80 nationalities.
The school covers educational stages from 3 to 18 years old. As a private and international school, we offer the International Baccalaureate programme continuum.
We are proud to inform that SEK International School Qatar has received its formal accreditation from New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), one of the most prestigious international university and school accreditation agencies. It indicates that the school meets high standards of institutional quality through an ongoing, independent, and objective process of peer-review.
In the final report, the NEASC team expressed: “..many of the identified strengths are the unique balance of this school, which has comprehensive and complete processes, policies, and procedures, as well as an organic professional culture that is nurtured by the Vision and values of the school. This unique balance of structure and innovative freedom gives rise to and supports the strengths identified.
SEK International Schools offer education to more than 6,000 day and boarding students of more than 70 nationalities, from 4 months to 18 years of age, in their campuses of Madrid, Barcelona, Almería, Pontevedra, Dublin (Ireland), Les Alpes (France), Doha (Qatar) and Saudi Arabia.
Our main priority at SEK International Schools is to provide a quality education to our students through the different educational experiences we offer them. This entails a constant review of our learning and teaching processes, our curricula and our assessment processes.
In order to comply with these high quality standards we regularly manage and review our quality assurance providers and submit our schools to external evaluations in order to ensure compliance with the standards required by the most demanding international and national educational authorities.
